Complimenting the cottage the grounds stretch down to the River Ouse. Stroll through the garden and down the 2 acre meadow and picnic by the river bank. As well as the resident squirrels the meadow is frequently visited by local wildlife including deer, pheasants and an abundance of wild birds.Fishing is possible directly from the meadow outside of the close season (15 March to 15 June). There is a healthy mix of coarse fish, bring your own rod and tackle and make sure you have a rod licence available from https://www.gov.uk/fishing-licences/buy-a-fishing-licence.
